TheFatLazyGuy 07-26-06, 07:05 PM	So I was talking to some friends of mine yesterday, and we were all reminiscing about the old days when we played the Old World of Darkness, and it go me to thinking that if we could somehow convert our old characters from that into D&D we would find true happiness in gaming. But we have no clue how to do it. One of my friends suggested that what we need to do is that ignoring disciplines, and generation, multiply the highest score by four to get the level that they should be. Now I don't know if this is right, but if some one could help us out, and put us on the path to enlightenment that would be much appreciated.
R2-DS 07-26-06, 08:39 PM	Unfortunately I dont know the system that you want to convert from. But as a general rule. I would go over your origional characters and look at their existing abilities. How many of those abilities translate into "feats" in the D+D game? Once you have that information you can figure out at what level (approximately) your characters should be. Decide on a new D+D class based on what fits the origional class best and build your "new" characters.
