| Lao, Ninja of the Dragon11-02-05, 07:08 PM | Post the dreams you have about D&D. Best if funny or odd. They don't have to be though Once, in my dream, there was this Bar Mitzvah(spelling?). They did the ceremony, and then there was the dancing and everything. Nothing funny or D&D related about a Bar Mitzvah? Right, except for this one! Everyone was a kobold..... |
| Rocketboy1311-02-05, 07:26 PM | I was a werewolf playing chess against a wizard. An invisible imp sat on my shoulder helping me pick moves. Until the wizard cast true seeing, snatched up the imp, banished him, and told me it was my move. :looloo: The other night I dreamed there was a great conspiracy to take over the world, in unison between Dr Doom, a group of wizards from a campaign setting I have been building, the forces of Chaos from Warhammer, and Jack of Blades the Villian from Fable. It was a pretty wild and involved dream. I fought along the Human Torch, Tordek the Dwarf, the Guildmaster, a Space Marine and I was a cross between Neo and a character I play in Mutants and Masterminds called Mint. :mymy: It was epic baby! |
| Draco Strang11-02-05, 07:34 PM | I once had a dream where I was a rogue with the ability to cast spells. My best bet is that I had a level or two of sorcerer. I was sneaking through a ditch, and I got shot in the neck by a guy with a hand crossbow. Seriously...that was my whole dream. |
| Tyler Do'Urden11-03-05, 01:16 AM | I had a dream once wherein I think my DM was hitting on me. Does that count? |

Actually there's a official class that does that, it's called the spellthief and it's in the Complete Adventurer. |
| Thanqol11-03-05, 02:49 AM | I had a dream once wherein I think my DM was hitting on me. Does that count? How else do gaming relationships form :D? Well, bizzarely enough, I was wearing a wizard's hat and walking into a public swimming pool, exept the change rooms were filled with culinary. I wrote it down and it weirded the party out when they found said change room (Wizard in particular used Dispel Magic on every square foot). |
| Wildonion11-03-05, 08:15 AM | I fought along the Human Torch, Tordek the Dwarf, the Guildmaster, a Space Marine and I was a cross between Neo and a character I play in Mutants and Masterminds called Mint. :mymy: It was epic baby! If you had a Space Marine you must have won. :D |
| Blue_Dilemma11-03-05, 10:08 AM | How weird, I just woke up from one. I'm guessing I was a Barbarian because I was mostly naked in the snow and I had a big sword. I trecked my way through some hills and came to a busy modern day highway where I met up with some guy in armor. We crossed the highway, dodging cars and trucks, and came to a river on the other side. It didn't look crossable so we raided a nearby plastics factory and made a raft out of rubbermade tubs and bunjicord. Then the alarm went off. |
| xxxsammaelxxx11-03-05, 10:20 AM | Heh, Mine was as a DM. in teh real live game, My group is trying to sneak into this HobGoblin Fort with walls and guard towers. 3 times they've failed and set off the alarms and called out all the defenses. (2 sessions, they've been trying to crack this place). In the Dream, The Orc warrior (PC) Goes all Looney Tunes / Bugs Bunny and disguises himself as the worst drag queen Hobgoblin you've ever seen, and distracts the guards while the party sneaks in. It was straight out of a warner brothers cartoon, including the bonnet and the terrible wig and funny voices/accents for the chars. Freud would have a field day |
| Rocketboy1311-03-05, 07:43 PM | If you had a Space Marine you must have won. :D Considering my only superpower was to make people taste a sickening amount of mint, plus some ninja fighting skills, I would have to say the marine's contrabutions were appreciated against the wizards cabal. |
| Draco Strang11-03-05, 08:14 PM | Considering my only superpower was to make people taste a sickening amount of mint, plus some ninja fighting skills, I would have to say the marine's contrabutions were appreciated against the wizards cabal. Hopefully it was a Starship Trooper ala Heinlen. His take on space marines/power armor is by far and away the best. Shoot...should we ever form a space marine corps, I expect that his text will be the required reading for powerarmor architects. |
| Thwyvylyn11-03-05, 09:32 PM | I think he means this kind of Space Marine (http://uk.games-workshop.com/download/popup.htm?/spacemarines/concept-art/images/veterans.jpg) or this kind (http://www.battle.net/images/broodwar/pix/wall/terrprev.jpg) . |

Yeah it was the first one. Really, compared to him, I was unimpressive in my own dream, it is both theatric and pitiful in the same breath. |
| Darkuwa11-04-05, 03:36 AM | I'm the DM and in my dream I found myself face to face with my BBEG. I have this wierd abilitie to recognize dreams so I knew it was just a dream. So I raised my right fist into the air and said to the BBEG "Watch my magic." Then I said the Green Lanters oath "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight, for those who worship evils might, beware my power, green lanterns light" Which in a dream gives me all the power of a green Lantern. So, I had a nice epic battle across several mountain tops with the BBEG, after I beat him I went to find the parties half succubus ;) , but woke up before I could find her. |
