Would Roleplayers be willing to pay for a Fantasy themed vacation where roleplaying is the main activity? Is this something Wizards of the coast might be interested in being involved with if their product was the main theme?
(ie. Dungeons and Dragons fantasy camp) I have been considering a business like this for a few years and I want to know if there would be any interest. The camp would be a place where adventurers would be encouraged to dress up in character and would be provided with a full fantasy experience. The staff would be in character and Game Master services could be provided. I know there are a few LARP camps in America so there must be some demand for such a place.

are you talking about a LARP camp or a tabletop Pen-and-Paper roleplaying camp, if it's the latter I might be interested...

Intriguingly enough this isn't the first time I've heard of this idea. One of my friends was once talking about the idea of a "CampCon", based on the same idea. I don't know if they ever ended up organising it or not, but I didn't hear about it again so I'm guessing not.

Honestly though, I wouldn't go to that event. Still, it might be a good idea... I guess wait and see what other replyers to this thread think.

yeah, I'd really need a specification between LARPing and table toping

If it was a thing where people got together to just play D&D and get a change of groups from there norm type of thing, I'd have fun with that

But like a lot of people here, I don't LARP (i'm sure there's plenty who do here as well) but you might be better helped by going to a board for LARPers to get more info if thats the direction you're going

Careful dude, this is straying dangerously close to market research, which will get the thread locked.
