:teach:This was originally done by some folk called "The Dead Ale-Wives". It was a bonus movie on "Summoner" for the PS2, complete with video game characters delivering the lines. This uses characters from 8-Bit Theater, which steals most of it's content from Final Fantasy I and other vintage PC and console RPGs. Sometimes I think WotC should have a page just for information about this stuff. Every few weeks somebody posts a link thinking no one has ever heard it before... And the scarey part is that there are plenty of folk that haven't.

03-06-04, 11:48 AM Yeah the various sources are outlined on the site I found it on. It's not done by Brian Clevinger (the guy who did 8bt), and they acknowledge all that stuff in the credits. I still think it's really funny to see the 8bt characters doing it, they're just so silly. And the original skit itself was alarmingly accurate.
