Assuming there is one near me, would this be an ok thing to take my 9 yr old son to? He's learning to play, enjoys the game. He holds himself well, as in he is mature when playing, and does understand many aspects of the game in general. Like I said, I don't know how serious folks get at these, and how competitive this stuff becomes for winning. Thanks! |

| Malruhn09-18-06, 02:49 PM | I would add that I have seen eight and nine year-olds that could game very well... and thirty-five year-olds that should have their dice taken away, and have paper cuts put on their eyeballs for immaturity. |

| Soulkeeper09-18-06, 11:20 PM | I appreciate the replies. He does well with the game, and I plan to touch on some of the aspects we don't use in our own game. I just wasn't sure how other players felt. He's 9 after all, and maturity aside, I've watched him make a few classic 9 year old moves in adventures that just amaze me at their lack of logic. I just simle and wonder what I would have done back then. :) |
