This Christmas I'm sure everyone in the (roughly) appropriate age group asked for SOMETHING related to dungeons and/or dragons So go ahead and tell us what d20 delights Nicolas the gift giver brought!
To start off I got heroes of horror , a third party warcraft d20 book , and a limited edition dungeon masters guide. Come on , don't be shy!

It has been a tradition for a while now to buy a new shiny D20 book to my gm/boyfriend for Christmas. But we dont have a proper game store in our town anymore and I was to late to order from the internet. :weep:

I got $200 (my grandparents are fairly straight-laced, and I wouldn't ask them for D&D books)
too bad my amazon.com wishlist is more than 2x that ><

I accidentally gifted myself. I got some Dragoneye minis off e-bay for a REALLY low price, and the seller sent them to me virtually the next day. As I wasn't expecting them, I mistook them for a christmas present from somebody I didn't know, and placed the box under the tree.

I got both the Anniversary PHB and DMG. Its my second Anniversary PHB now, so this will give the players something shinny to play with. :)

I didn't actually ask for anything D&D related, 'cause I know I've got the attention span of an ooze and might change my mind about a sourcebook at any minute.

With the money I got for christmas though, I expect I'll be getting the WoW rulebook. :)

Firstly, i'm not sure this thread exactly belongs here but so what... I got Complete Warrior from my brother (hmmm...i'm suspecting some subtle hints on what classes he wants to play sometime), and money to get hold of another D&D book, so i'll probably have Monster Manual III as a result of christmas.

Most of what I got was D&D stuff, actually (just two video games, some clothes, and a few odds and ends otherwise). I got 5 Underdark boosters for DDM (yielding some decent rares - two Battle Plate Marshalls, a Large Deep Dragon, a Drow Arachnomancer, and a Draegloth), the Fantastic Locations: Hellspike Prison (which is mainly for the maps for DDM), plus nine books (turns out my mom found them for about 20$ each plus free shipping on Amazon):

Complete Divine
Complete Adventurer
Epic Level Handbook
Player's Guide to Faerūn
Unapproachable East
Champions of Valor
Champions of Ruin
Faiths & Pantheons
Monsters of Faerūn

All in all, a very nice Christmas for me.

I got Complete Divine and enough money to, after buying my other stuff, buy another book.

And a waffle maker, which is the best present ever. I love waffles.

I bought myself the leather bound special edition players handbook. I bought 2 of the spell compendium, one for my DM and one for his brother, the party DM. I bought some of my other friends dice and such. No one except me bought DnD material for me. :weep:. I had a birthday on Dec 19 and Christmas, but nothing. Maybe next year. :(
Lord Doombringer

DMG II

Dungeon 129

...and a partridge in a pear tree! :P

Frostburn and Lords of Madness.

(FYI: Describing Mind Flayer reproduction to someone who doesn't even know anything about D&D can be entertaining.)

Planning to get a Complete Series book with cash from various relatives, though I'm not sure what one, probably Warrior or Arcane.

My girlfriend got me the Book of Vile Darkness.. started as a joke but she really got it for me... honestly I would have preferred something more useful in the long run (since most of the games I play in don't allow evil characters) but I thought it was funny (if not a little ironic to get THAT particular book for CHRISTMAS). She also got me some resin goblets with a gothic dragon motif that I am SO going to use as a prop next game :)

I didn't ask for any gifts this year. In fact I TOLD people not to buy me gifts... but they did anyway. I didn't get any gaming stuff BUT I did get two gift cards. I used them to order Magic of Incarnum, Sandstorm and the Spell Compendium.

My Mother also got me a 27" TV...

Although I did not receice any DnD books for Christmas I did get my hands on (finally) the D20 modern rulebook. It was really wearing thin using only the SRD. But what I was really happy to get was the Calvin and Hobbes complete collection. Through lifting it I can build muscles and I can expand my mind through reading it.

Got my one friend and DM Weapons of Legacy. He was quite thankful.

I also got my more experienced First edition playing DM Paranoia. Im scared he might get ideas.

I got another friend and part time DM Heroes of Horror. I did so since he is such a huge Call of Cthulu fan and Im sure it will give him material.

I got about £200. Later today I'm heading into town, and my D&D related purchases will include Serpent Kingdoms, Shackled City Adventure Path, hopefully Return To The Temple Of Elemental Evil, Sandstorm and some kind of monster book - at the moment I'm thinking about MM3. Also, don't forget picking up the latest issues of Dungeon and Dragon magazines.

I was really underwhelmed by Serpent Kingdoms. Take a hard look at it before buying...
