08-03-05, 07:06 PM Is there a way to get a good battle grid for D&D online? I'm looking for one that I could just print off on my computer, so any help would be great.

08-03-05, 07:49 PM Well...hmm, if you just want a grid you could use the MSpaint or any other draw program and draw a chart of 1 inch squares on it. I believe that's the basic size of the grid lines. I have to admit I've mostly bought all my stuff for miniatures so I've never looked, but I don't imagine making one would be all that difficult if one wanted to do something to that effect.

08-03-05, 08:35 PM Save yourself the time and cost of ink carts and get a battle mat. You can write on them with overhead projector pens and wipe off with windex.

They come in all sizes. I've got one that 35"X24" and one that's like 4'x6'.

Just do a google search for battle mats

My smaller battlemat was like $15 and the larger one was less that $40. I got them both a a RPG convention.

08-03-05, 10:00 PM I've got a 4-foot battle mat ordered at my local shop for $30. It should come by tomorrow. It's the way to go if you can afford it. Nothing beats the wet-erase mat.

I have a notebook that couldn't have costed more then a buck or two. But if you take drafting class then graph paper is free...

Great little site that lets you do all sorts of graph paper. Set your paper size, square size (or even hex if your one of THOSE people :bored: ) and print away!
