Hey guys, I'd just like to know who plays D&D 3.5 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm putting together a couple of groups and it'll be good to know.

I don't play D&D, but I'd be interested in meeting other RPGers in Buenos Aires. And in finding out about any good hobby shops or gaming stores here.

I know of 2, they're not half bad. They're called APOCALIPSIS and ENTELEQUIA. How familiar are you with the city?

Not very. I live in Belgrano and don't have a car.:(

I think I've been to those two stores (in fact, those are the only two I know of) but was disappointed in the poor selection of RPG products.

The story of my life... What kind of material are you looking for? books?

I'd love to know of a place that sells GURPS books (heresy on these forums, I'm sure, LOL!) and/or wargames (things like Squad Leader, or pretty much anything played with cardboard counters).

I'm pretty sure that GURPS is virtually non-existant in Argentina (although I've heard it's fairly popular in Brazil).

I live in Buenos Aires. Go to www.derol.com.ar , it's a great forum, an about 95% of the users live in argentina, and most of them in Buenos aires. It's not D&D only, but it's really good.
Also, for buyin books, Camelot is quite good (it has only started tu get books recently, but it has many of themĒ), and El club del Comic has a few. I bought Runquest there...

Arien,

I just moved to BA and I would be very interested in an english-language D&D campaign. I'm a long-time DM who hasn't played in almost two years... and I've got the itch (in a good way, I assure you...)

I sent you a private message with my email address if you want to contact me.
