08-03-04, 02:40 AM Reading through the paper today (Sekret, an "Inqirer" style rag) I come upon the following:

"The Wizards Crimes are nearly impossible to prove.

The misterious death in the Simuti village in Sinadjur (eastern Yave) gives rise to many rumours.

Villager Baka Onita suddenly collapsed and expired in the middle of the day. The same thing happened to his son, Asel. Both were completely healthy a few days earlier. Police is checking the relationship between the deaths and other occult occurances, and the black magic rituals practiced by the witch doctor of Sukmana, who was openly hostile towards the pair.

The people of Sukmana are often accused of being black mages, But the authorities cannot handle such crimes effectivly, as they are extremly difficult to prove. But the goverment takes action, making a new "black magic" law. "

It goes on for a while. But looking at the illustration for the article, what do I see? Our dear Mialee casting a spell from a scroll (page 84 of the 3.0 phb).

So JC may or may not be right, but Baka Onita and Asel Anita are gone for good.

I mean, sure, they may have been stupid enough to go evil playing a board game but I'm not!!!! And i'm sure the rest of the people on this site will not either!!!:fight!:
