| Cyber-Dave11-23-07, 11:31 PM | Ok, I noticed that the latest group of D&D minies will be "4th edition compatible". Now, I have a question: does that mean that the D&D roleplaying aspect of them will be 4th edition compatible, or does that mean that the actual "D&D minies" aspect of them is 4th edition compatible as well? IE: When 4th edition comes out, will the rules for the D&D miniature combat be changing as well? If so, does this mean that all older miniatures (such as unhallowed) will no longer be usable (at least with newer miniatures)? |

They will be changing the minis rules, but they will be providing updated stats for old minis so you can keep using them. I think the new rules will be released in January. I don't think the updates will be available all at once; I think there's a big vote on to see which ones get done first. |

No supprises that the beholder is guarenteed to be in this. The last few sets are all supposed to be usable in the new version, so I doubt there'll be any serious change of scale. Any miniatures that a player can imagine as the thing that it represents is by nature usable. If not, then the problem is probably with the players rather than the miniatures! |

Yes, because WotC is a pure 3V1L corperation trying to ruin your game! I mean, it's not like the are going to remake the old cards so you can still use them in the new minis game! I mean, that would mean that they are compatable size, and that would mean you would still be able to use them, so they wouldn't be making as much 3V1L money! Go to the D&D mini homepage. They are having a vote as to which they will convert first. |
