Okay, i'm seeking some assistance from anyone familiar with Turkish, Arabic, or Middle Eastern in general folk music. I'm looking for some good, traditional Middle Eastern folk music to enhance my D&D games. Again, i'd prefer it be Turkish, Arabic, or Aramaic, but Indian could possibly work too.

Any help would be appreciated...just give me the names and i'll find what I seek one way or another.

I got music for you, in particular Prince of Perisa, it fits it VERY well :)

I also have some vocal pieces as well. Salim Diab, Hakim, el-Jazeera and such

Much of the music on Silk Road Journeys which features Yo Yo Ma and The Silk Road Ensemble comes from central asia and the middle east and is quite atmosphereic. A thorough look through the "world music" section of any largish music store, will be both useful and really bloody annoying due to the always poor organization of said section.

Look for the band "Dead can Dance", especially the albums "Aion" and "Into the Labyrinth" contain arabic-style songs. I used this songs during adventures in deserts. Or "Vox X-Chants", but might be hard to get this album.

If you mean the music of native Americans:
Marie Boine, Jazz with "Indian" Chants

If you mean music from India, try some music from "Ravi Shankar"

And folk? What kind of folk? Irish? Medieaval? Italian? Country? Could you specify that a bit, because I have a huge collection "folk". ;)

Already quite familiar with Dead Can Dance, one of my favourite bands. :)

As for the music I was looking for, I was seeking Turkish, Arabic, or Aramaic folk music. Perhaps Indian as well, by which I meant the actual country of India.

I have some music from "Oum Kaltsoum" and "Shaykh Yusuf Al-Manylawi " but this is really arabic and very hard to listen to. If I listen to that kind of songs more than 3 minutes, it gets on my nerves, because I can't stand the oriental gamut. So, DCD is a good alternative :)
