D&D new to playing and its awesome [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-30-04, 01:51 AM OI! there is way too much crap too read! Oh my poor head! Anywho I love D&D and i like to make weapons and armor(anyone who wants such a thing can contact me)! Anywase I like the game very much and want to know about some kewl items you have seen, drawn or encountered I might make! And send me info on anything D&D related! Weapons and Armor especially! Im not sure about other things but I could try. Did I mention I love weapons! Anywho, I've played this other site(www.thievesguild.cc) and I wanted to come see what this site could offer so i could enhance my over all D&D experience!

Second off, it's only been a half hour since the thread was started. Give it time.

Secondly: If your second post to this thread is anything but sarcasm, perhaps you should wait a little longer than 20 minutes before bumping your threading

Thirdly: I'm not certain, but I think your including the link to the other site may be a CoC violation. Have to let a Wizo decide that. Notwithstanding, I do have a character that is going to be a kensai of a weapon whose name I can't remember off hand. The best way I can describe it is that it's a bunch a metal rods, about 4 inches long each, connected to each other by bits of chain with a handle on one end. the usual length is from 4 to 6 feet long. If you're interested in making something like that for me, then I suggest we continue such a conversation through PM's. I'll PM you to get it started.

Once again, welcome to the boards.

Remember, its only against the CoC to put up a link to a commercial site, aka a site that exists only for the purpose of selling something.

The link he has is to a resource site, which happens to have a souvineer shop in it. So no, the link is fine.

Welcome to the game, but I gotta repeat what the others have said. These are message boards, not chat rooms. It will take hours, even days to get a reply sometimes, so you just have to be more patient.
