Here is one for DMs with pesky, irritating players: Dice of doom, dice of death, Make the players feel my wrath! And when the player rolls a saving throw: Die of destruction, die of hate! | Eltheynn08-07-04, 12:25 PM | A DM of mine used a "Jedi Mind Trick" of sorts. When he wanted a roll to be a certain number, he'd put a glass in the table and announce he was using the "Sting of the Purple Scorpion" (sic) or some other lame name... And 9 times out of 10 the dice would hit the glass and end up rolling the number the DM wanted (give or take +1, but still pretty impressive)!!!! We started to suspect that the dice were loaded... But alas, we never got to prove it. As for me, back when I played (and last session was about 1 and a half years ago, dammit! :sad:), every oonce in a while I'd say a number when rolling a dice, and it also seemed to work most of the time. But that sure was pure luck, as my dice ain't loaded (at least not the ones I use when I'm a player... MWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!!) ;) |
