UZI 05-10-04, 10:15 PM	Possessives: - Orcs is Orken - Elf is Elven, for characteristicaly Elven items, such as Elven Chainmail, pure Elven villages, or the Elven language; or Elvish, for normal items that have a hint of Elvish design, or to describe something that is incidentally Elvish, such as an Elvish army (unless the army is officially Elven as sanctioned by the rulers), Elvish looking garments, or the Elvish quarter of the city - Dwarves is Dwarven, for characteristicaly Dwarven items such as Dwarven Waraxe or the Dwarven language; or Dwarvish, for items that have a hint of Dwarvish elements (although any ale stein with Dwarven runes, is always called a Dwarven stein) - Gnome is Gnomish, always, they are not as pretensious as either the Elves or the Dwarves. Gnomish in my world almost always means "quality". :D

q'afuu 05-11-04, 12:55 AM	Gnome Elven Orcs Elves Hobbits A simple reading of the PHB (or the LotR for the hobbit question) should allow you to find uses of all these words in these forms. Heck, reading chapter 2: races should do it. As an aside, this has nothing to do with grammar. These are vocabulary matters.
