I was curious to know about the D&D/gaming scene in Korea. Is there anyone who knows of a Web site or in-person gathering? Also, I'd love to know where you can buy D&D/gaming stuff. Any information would be great!

i have been in Korea for the past 3 months. I have not seen any gaming infor at any of the stores around where I am. Nor has any of my friends overhere heard of it. That might just be where I am at though, so I don't know about the rest of the country.

What part of Korea are you in? I am at the University of Ulsan

In 1979, I was a helicopter mechanic and I was stationed all over Korea, I started in Pamunjong. Then went to Tague. And I finally ended up in Pyongtaek. At each stop I set up a small D&D group with the stuff that I had with me.

If you have access to military bases, ask around at the NCO club or Officers club. Someone has got to have a game going...

Good luck.

Book & Dice (http://www.bookndice.co.kr/) deals with RPG and boardgames. You can visit their shop (http://www.bookndice.co.kr/ttmall/mall.cgi?skin=introduction) by person.

If you don't speak any Korean, though, your best luck would be to go to Yongsan, although I believe the staff would speak at least some English.
