Plus, you would have to swap out the medieval weaponry for firearms. Maybe the last big bad guy is trying to build a nuclear device instead of summoning a draconic deity. I just know I would never try it. |
| King_of_the_squirrels05-08-07, 09:35 PM | :help: Okay now, I'm seriously thinking of doing this. I can't bring myself to do a setting that is cliche or normal. the only problem I'm coming across is letting the antagonist keep there spells with d20 modern classes. does anyone have input that can help with that. The setting will be in central america, I'll just represent all the humanoid races as human (cosmetically). the red hand will be trying to ressurect an ancient aztec deity. it will actually be quite Lovecraftian, but the actual story changes will be easy. The mechanics of it are my obstical. I guess my main questions are: -are d20 modern classes suitable for this adventure? -will I be able to keep spellcasting villians in there dnd class without making them too powerful? -has anyone already tried this before? |
