12-04-05, 11:42 PM If you're wounded and use a spell like Vampiric Touch do the temporary hit points counteract the damage you've taken like one of the varied Cure XXX Wounds spells? Personally I think they should and you gain the temporary hit points once you're back on full hit points.

That means they don't reverse existing damage, they only mitigate future damage.
