05-25-05, 11:11 AM My question is what is an epic weapon? What really constitutes a weapon being epic? Is it the enhancement bonus added to special abilities that takes the market value above +5 (like a +5 flaming longsword) or what?

05-25-05, 11:51 AM A weapon will bypass DR of X/Epic if the actual enhancement bonus on that weapon is +6 or greater.

This is significantly different than the definition of an Epic weapon for play in a 21+ level game. In that instance, an epic weapon is any weapon with a +6 or greater enhancement bonus or total abilities worth more than +10.
