By the time you reach the level to face that monster, you should have a magic weapon.dr/,agic is not meant to keep PC's from hurting it, it is meant to keep the riff-raff from huting it, it should be noted that the vast majority of the "encounters" ina monsters life will be with other monsters and low level NPC types, the DR/magic is for use against them... a monster will generaly only ever have one encounter with a party of PC's of a level close to its CR, most likley its last. (although even against PC types it can be helpful, it is effective against summoned monster and natures allies and such generaly). |
