damage resistance [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-03-06, 12:52 AM if you have damage resistence of 10/evil. can a +1 weapon do damage with out the reduction? and if so, why?

04-03-06, 01:07 AM Plain ol' +1 won't do. You need an unholy, corrupt, or otherwise Evil weapon to do it.

04-03-06, 07:36 AM Though a lot of DMs that I know tend to go along with Monte Cook's variation for Damage Reduction (http://www.montecook.com/cgi-bin/page.cgi?otherd20_damage_reduction). It helps even the playing field a bit.
