| Fwib02-06-04, 01:25 PM | Mostly to do with area spells/effects: Where in the core rules(3.5) does it say how to treat the effects of spells and effects (like fireball or dragonbreath) on attended items? IE: If my character is in a fireball, does his cloak get destroyed? I found the rules for magic items DMG p214 But under the damaging objects rules in the PHB p165 although it says attended items get to use their owner's save bonuses, it doesnt specify what happens on a(n) (un)successful save. (well, not that I can find, anyway) Thanks in advance. I note that fireball says 'damage to creatures and unattended items' and presumably many other spells say that sort of thing too, but what about damage from being digested, as in those creatures with 'Swallow Whole'? |
