is it illegle to archive a book phtocopying it to your computer?

I don't think its illegal to have back-up copies, it does become illegal if you share them with other people however. I think, as long as you can prove that you purchased the orginals, its ok. However, if I were you, I would not take the slightest risk and not make computer copies.

Read the inside cover of your book.
"Any reproduction or unauthorized use..."
Making a copy of your own book is a reproduction.

Howver, if you want a definitive answer, check with an attorney.

Yup, its illegal. Reproducing the book is specifically forbidden, its written right there in the first couple of pages.

but that desont make sesne you can archive video games and movies and stuff... but not books?

Consult a lawyer. Default answer is "if it says no reproduction, it means no reproduction".
