you can't be any type of evil in the game only good. :weep: there goes my half-dragon lol

01-13-06, 09:22 PM Half-dragons have no 'always evil' requirement. Then again, as far as I know DDO doesn't allow you to play a half-dragon in the first place, so that's kind of a moot point. ;)

I always liked the idea of an Orc killing elves in the woods around an Elf settlement for fun, then one day he gets a bit to close to town and the residents capture his and hoist him up as a hero before he can really react for killing the Bandits who'd taken up outside the city. :)

I'm also looking forward to DDO, There's a few features that won't be included at release that I'm interested in, like crafting, but they'll come along eventually, I'm sure.

That's not a hero. A hero risks something in order to achieve something positive with that achievement as a motive. Accidentally helping people as a side effect of malicious behavior makes you a malicious, evil villain regardless.

You can have evil Heros though, people can do intentionally heroic acts for non-heroic reasons. Best examples: Punisher & Venom from Marvel Comics. Punisher was obviously evil, he would kill people without regards for collateral damage or morals for any reason that seemed suitable to him, but his actions had positive results as they were carried out against other evil characters. Venom was most definetly evil, but carried out heroic acts in the name of self preservation.

01-17-06, 08:12 AM and deadpool hes a new kind of insane, but he has been good....o wait no iam thinking of the punisher too...oh he no no that was daredevil...oh i know he gave the prisoners of wepon x hope by trying to die, so he can hookup with death! no wait that was more ego then heroism. ok so hes a bad example.

back on subject. i might queit world of warcraft for it, if they fix some things before release.
