| Drunk_Yoda07-31-06, 01:18 AM | Well it is oficial my oldest character is dead and beyond resurection, his Ogre name was: Kragg the Conqueror, son of Vrag, brother and killer of Dergar, king of the ogre legions of the south, savior of the people of Urindae and protector of the profecy but since he was a Half-Ogre his human name was Azrael Freewood but his best friend and adventuring pals only called him Kragg. He was a Barbarian 6/Psionic Warrior 11/Frenzied Berserker 5 by the time of his death Kragg was well known through the lands, he was feared by those who crossed his path and respected by the warriors of legend but now he is nothing more than a legend. His death was that of a true hero, there was this legend that speaked of an undead king who sold his soul to one of the demon lord in exchange of an unstoppable army to save his people from an evil gods army and he got what he wanted but at a price, he had to fight for ever without ever seeing his beloved wife. His conflict ranged beyond time in a place where it didn't exist but only when one who exeeds his might he shall come to the land again with his army to destroy it once an for all, but the only one who will stop him shall be the same conqueror who brought him back only to take his place. The army of the king was formed by dragons of every kind, undead overlords, demons, elementas, aberrations, many other beasts and the mighty tarrasque, the undead king finally caught up with Kragg after many month of pursuit and the army of the heroes of legend (as Kragg's party was known) had created the largest army the world had known and were ready to fight. The war lasted weeks and Kraggs army was loosing until only the heroes of legend were standing but thanks to a dream Jeremiah (One of the other characters, a paladin/favored soul) dreamed that the only way to drestroy the army was by traping it inside the timeless void but one had to take the place of the fallen deity so they sat out to destroy the Tarrasque and thanks to Kraggs Frenzy and rage he managed to keep it at bay to let the Gregorius (Our cleric) wish it to another realm so came the final showdown between the undead king and the Heroes. The king showed its true form (a modified Hecatoncheires from the epic level handbook) and started to fight but only them when Kragg was fighting like he never had a group of strange creatures called the host showed up and said something about the destiny of our world and the start of a new era, when they were over talking they took the soul of my character and the sould of the king and left leaving our lifeless bodies in the ground. So ended the story of my longest character which I had for around 7 years, which were on an off. I decided to write this because he just died today and I'm sad because of it. PS: Sorry for the typos but I'm having some troubles with the machine... damm keyboard doesn't have the keys in the correct place... again. |
| FloppyLlama07-31-06, 01:57 AM | My condolences. Soon the sun shall rise on a new character, one I wish that you can find just as fun to play, who shall remain for just as long. |
| Izodor_Shadowcaster07-31-06, 02:03 AM | My condolences, It is always said to loose someone, but remember: There is always another character sheet with your name on it. ;) |
| Thanqol07-31-06, 03:01 AM | Wow. Having your character die from a spiked pit trap doesn't seem as heroic in comparison. |
| Stumm_Dolch07-31-06, 09:59 AM | Wow. Having your character die from a spiked pit trap doesn't seem as heroic in comparison. haha Loser! Just messin =) I've been pancaked on 2 occasions by falling ceiling traps. There should SO be a forum on this site for Character obituaries... I'm starting that thread now. |
| Lord_Bahamut08-01-06, 06:11 PM | Wow, sounds like a stupid way for a cool character to die. At least you didn't have a 17th lvl Fighter get insta killed by a 6th lvl gnoll. |
| Renvale99908-02-06, 08:27 AM | May Kragg find all that he seeks in his next life, and may his legend live on in the memories of those who knew him best. |
| DM_Greatness08-02-06, 08:52 AM | I gotta ask, because it is the first question on my mind. What did Kragg's full attack look like? I'm asking for number of attacks, attack values, damage, and extras (psionic weapon, frenzy, etc) Second, gratz on playing a character for so long, to the limits of the game. |
| Psychoticpsymon08-02-06, 09:11 AM | You let your DM arbitrarily destroy your character without a fuss? |
| AlexVADnD08-02-06, 10:50 AM | You let your DM arbitrarily destroy your character without a fuss? Seriously, what an increidbly lame way to end a campaign too. You're finally fighting the BBEG when suddenly someone shows up, says something, and !POOF! you're gone, and the campaign is over. Lame... |
