Deathless Type [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-10-04, 03:10 AM Does the Deathless type (BoED p 157) carry any Level Adjustment? I can't seem to find one and it seems overpowered for LA +0 "race".

07-10-04, 12:35 PM I beleive the Undead Status is worth a LA of +2 alone (I mean the Undead status that grants various immunities to to various things (like Critical hits) and a Con of --).

That LA of +2 doesn't include other special abiltiies a particular undead might have (such as Incorporeal (which is worth another +2 again) or additional powers (which is why the ghost template has an ECL +5 (that is you have to pay 5 empty levels where you gain no Hit points, save increases, BAB increases, or skill Increases when using the ghost template)).
