In fact I can't remember the last game I ran, or what system it was in which I did so. However, for whatever reason, I thought I would try this one out. That being said. I find the motivation for the players' interaction severely lacking. I guess what I am saying is I fear my players will all run from the campaign as a whole. Soon I will provide some info on the characters involved, but in the mean time, has anyone else run the Demonweb Pits Campaign and if so, did you come across the same issues? How did you deal with them? Your help is most appreciated. |

We didn't really have any difficulty with the motivation. Drow are attacking, track them back to their source and eliminate the threat. If you discover a cosmic conspiracy in process, break it up. As solbergb pointed out though, we were a rather unusual party--two radiant servants of pelor, two multiclass paladins, a sorta goody two shoes occult slayer and a sorceress. Stopping evil plans was what our characters were about. If you've got players who aren't like that you might have problems. |
