| toddfrazie06-18-07, 01:37 AM | So I had to come up with a drinking game in a crunch for DnD one day and this is what I produced. In game it has been a blast. Were actually went as far as to play it in real life, and had a blast. The game involves 5 six sided dice and a dagger. After a 5 coin ante from each player, the Dagger is spun in the midst of the players, formed in a circle. Whomever the dagger is pointing at when it stops gets to roll 2 dice. The objective is to roll two 1s. If the player rolls two 1s, they take the pot. -The player gets to roll two dice automatically, they may chose to add up to three more dice if they dare. The Player may chose to take a portioned shot of whatever drink is standard (recommended 60-80 proof) to add another die, up to a maximum of five total dice. The Player can choose to roll another die (via drinking) after the previous dice are already rolled. -If two fives are ever rolled, everyone must take one shot (except the roller) and the dagger is passed (spun)immediately. - The player may choose to pass the dagger (spin it again) at any time. This often happens if one doesn't have the stomach to add another or wishes the ante to be raised. -A small figurine of a devil is placed somewhere in the circle. If the dagger ever spins to the devil, the Ante is raised by one, and the dagger is re-spun (by same spinner) -The Dagger must always make at least one full rotation. If the dagger ever lands on the spinner, they must take a shot and spin again. If the dagger fails to make a full rotation, the spinner must take a shot and spin again. - Finally, there must be at least four players, as the devil always takes the 5th place in the circle clockwise from the first spinner. -The Oldest player spins first. There are alternate ways to determine who gets to spin first, but this is standard. (Alternate Dice rules) When using dice to determine spin, a one equals rolling on yourself or less. Every step up from one is one space clockwise. If there is a number of spaces, un-matching to a dice size, re-roll the duds. -The player may adjust the spin by his/her dexterity moving it clockwise up to their dex mod. Devil ****- A very strong, stinging whiskey. This is the regular drink associated with the game. It can be replaced with other lesser, stronger, or more available drinks if desired. Drinking this Liquor is very similar to drinking a thick syrupy urine which coincidentally matches it's appearance. A portion is equal to around ½ of a shot glass (around 80 proof) (Fort DC:10+(1/10 proof) +1 per drink or become Buzzed/Drunk/Dizzy/Fading/Sick) Effects last 6 hours - Con Mod. Negative con mod adds hours. LEVELS OF DRUNK Buzzed: feeling pretty good. No penalties. Drunk: Loss of motor skills. Obnoxious qualities begin to show.(-2 Dex, -2 wis, -2 cha) Dizzy: Stumbling all over, gravity is your enemy, words are becoming estranged tools (-4) Fading: Consciousness is not guaranteed one minute to the next. (-6) 10% chance of falling unconscious every 10 minutes Sick: Game Over. You are Dying. Spend the next 5 hours(-Con mod) in gut wrenching pain. After 1 hour make a Fortitude DC: (drinks consumed-con modifier) or Die. Being cared for or healed increases check by 4 (heal check DC: 20) Remove poison or similar avoids this check and returns sobriety after about 1 minute. Hung-over: After a night of heavy drinking (dizzy or past), you are considered fatigued for 24 hours. I don't know of any Drinking/drunk rules, but these seemed to work nicely. I HOPE YOU ENJOY! Any advice on drunkenness rules, send them my way. |

| toddfrazie06-18-07, 09:00 PM | Yes actually. lol. It's not so complicated in action. Rather simple after the first round. |
| CryoSilver06-18-07, 10:03 PM | Well, I've played more complicated games, and I kept playing well past the blackout point, so I guess it's concievable. |
