08-18-06, 04:24 PM I was wondering how you're supposed to hanlde damage roles like 1d2 and 1d3, as far as I know there are no such dice.

08-18-06, 04:32 PM I have a 1D3... it is a standard 6 sided die, that only goes up to 3 (twice).

As for 1D2, you have several options...
1) Flip a coin Heads 1, Tails 2 (or vise versa)
2) Roll a die... Evens 1, Odds 2 " " "
3) Roll a Die lower half of numbers 1, upper half 2...
.......

You can roll a 1D6 and use 1,2 = 1, 3,4 = 2 and 5,6 =3 for a D3 if you need.

I created a dice (all die options) roller for Excel as well, get some good results. I even have it roll 20 of each type for easy damage rolls pre-summed.

There are many options you can take... Pick your poison

Most gaming stores have them. Typically they're kept in a kline bottle. If you can't find any, you can either take a d4 or d6 roll (as appropriate) and divide by two. Alternatively (and seriously) you can go to the main Wizards site and find a nice little downloadable Java dice roller tool. It has standard dice configured, and allows for a custom die. I tried it, and it will work for a 2 or 3 sided die.

08-18-06, 07:29 PM Take a look through paizo's dice section (http://paizo.com/store/gameAids/dice/byManufacturer/). Koplow tends to have some of the more unusual sizes, but I also know chessex produces some non-standard sizes -- for example, I have some d4s that are d8s marked 1-4 twice, as well as their "Roman" d4s (d12 with 1-4 3x). At GenCon, they also had the aformentioned d3 (d6 with 1-3 2x), and a "binary" die (d6, 0-1 3x).

Chessex also produces blanks, so you could buy some blank d6s and mark them yourself...
