| TheGregorian01-24-06, 10:43 AM | Hey... every so often my dice dissapear...except my d6's... no one steals those... and it is now time to buy all new dice. Not only that, but I recently recruited 3 new people to D&D, who are all buying new dice... so, I ask you gentlemen (and lady)... where's the best place to get large qualities of dice... hopefully without paying like a dollar each? (I'm the type of guy who wants to cast 30d6 admixtured fireballs... just to see 30d6's fall all over the tables.) so... I'm gonna need like at least 6 complete sets with extra d6's and d20's, and probably a few extra d4's... but I don't want to pay $70+ for it... can someone PM me a good place to buy it? or Email me at Dasgregorian@aol.com? (I'd imagine posting here may be a bad idea since WotC offers the starter set, so technically all dice producers are competitors, and if nothing else, telling someone to go to a competitor's site on WotC's forum is rude.) |

| TheGregorian01-24-06, 11:33 AM | that's what I always did in yakima (scavanging through the dice bins of local gaming shops... $.65 a piece... but you got exactly what you wanted) ... but now I'm in Moses Lake... not a SINGLE gaming store within at least 50 miles... it's a horrible existance here... it really is. Chessex certainly has the nicest dice... I usually buy them... but a set of 7 is $9, and a set of 10 d10s is $11... just not cool... I think I'll end up getting their box of d6's... that's not a bad deal, and I'd like to have a load of d6's all the same color... but, eh... anywho... so if anyone knows of a decent place to get them in bulk, let me know. tyvm. |
| kraegor01-24-06, 11:39 AM | You can get like tons of dice off ebay and online stores the ones that are "mixed" varieties. they generally have 1-3 sets in them with bunches left over. So if you bought 2 or 3 bags, then you would have quite a few collections of dice. Now if you got your new players to ante up money for the "bag o dice" each, and you bought one to, thats 4 bags to split, share and combine, and they are relitively cheap (I saw one the other day for like 7.50) |
| OctoberRaven01-24-06, 11:57 AM | Gaming store over here has sets of 7 for 6 bucks. That's $36 for six sets. Also, if people are stealing dice from you, stop playing with them. |
| autumnleaf01-26-06, 11:42 AM | EBAY For sure. I have bought many from the store close by that sells all r/p books but ebay has large amounts for a good price.I keep my dice in a crown royal bag :) |
