drfate_order 12-15-05, 05:12 PM	Okay I just started playing with a new group and were all playing monsters are PC's. I'm a Lizardfolk with 5 levels of Druid, we have a Trogloyde with 4 levels as a sorceror and a Kobold Cleric (his ECL is 6 like the rest of us any way.) Now things brings me to my question. We have a troll. The MM says that a troll as a character gets a level adjustment of 5, he also has one level as a barbarian. In are battle he killed two enemies before anyone of us could do any damage. He has like over a hundred HP and does like fifteen damage at least. I told my DM he's over powered but my DM didn't think so. Is a troll with one level as a Barbarian really just a ECL of 6 like the rest of my group. because he didn't even need us to do anything. He has to be more right? unless someone can give me a reason otherwise.
Raymond_Luxury_Yacht 12-15-05, 05:26 PM	Racial Hit Dice are included in ECL. The troll Barbarian 1 has an ECL of 12. By the way, both the Lizardfolk and the Trog in your party have an ECL 8. The only guy with the correct ECL is the kobold.
