Diferent ways to play [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-24-04, 08:17 PM I was wondering I bought the dnd adventure game the other day and I just got the player handbook and I was wondering if there was more than one way to play.

I got the game and it came with a mat and game tokens + character sheets and I was wondering if you can play other ways then just on the Mat if so plz list them.

07-24-04, 08:37 PM Well you don't need the mat or anything but the PH, and DMG, and MM to play D&D...

After you have those a DM and 2-4 players is all you need, with imagination to boots of course.
