That's a copyright notice that the copyright holder places with the work, not something you'd put on your website. You'll probably find something similar inside of any of your D&D manuals. It goes without saying that WotC still owns WotC material; nothing you can do on your website can change that fact. Usually when people put disclaimers on their fan websites it's out of some misguided notion that saying "yes I'm infringing your copyright and/or trademarks, but look, I'm giving you props, so please don't shut down my website" makes it okay. They'll say something like "Dungeons & Dragons, the Forgotten Realms, and Elminster are registered trademarks of Wizards of the Coast. The use of those terms here is not intended as a challenge to WotC's copyrights or trademarks". But it's meaningless. You're either infringing or you're not, such silly disclaimers notwithstanding. As far as I know, they have no legal merit.
Seeker95 12-17-06, 05:19 PM	The closest you'll come to a "disclaimer" is the d20 license and the OGL license. Anything else probably falls within the nature of what Solaris said.
