Are the rules for dive attacks detailed in the core books somewhere? I've been completely unable to find them. If the rules aren't in any of the core books, what books are they in?

Thanks

It's the same as a charge.

Actually, it's not quite the same. It works like a charge except for the fact that talon and claw attacks do double damage. But that wasn't my question. My question is where are the dive rules printed? They're easy to find on the web, but I've been unable to find them in print.

Thanks anyway

in most cases the dive att rules are found in the entry of an individual creature that has dive att ability i would look at the averial elf or the raptorians in the races of the wild and apply those standards

It's in the Monster Manual, page 312, under "movement modes".
