I was thinking about buying new books but i dont want to accidently buy book for 3.5ed that i cannot use...

And books that is for the FR settings whould be good too.

Please, anyone?

07-06-04, 03:02 PM Okay, first you need to understand that any book that you can use with 3.0 can also be used with 3.5 and vice versa. The differences are (relatively) minor. Just get yourself a copy of the conversion manual (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20030718a) and you're all set.

07-06-04, 10:16 PM Does anyone know if this will continue to be printed? or is it going to be updated for 3.5? I'm wanting to get it but being as who I just ordered the 3.5 gift set, the ol' gaming budget is tapped for quite awhile.

i believe the production run of the Book of Vile Darkness is done.

there are plenty of copies still available.
