| Rainy_day_man02-28-07, 01:59 PM | This weekend, a group of friends and I have a thing here in college where we take a room and lock ourselves in untill the next day and we make comics. This time around, I want to make a comic comeity based on a typical DnD group. But I need material. Care to share some of your crazy experiances? Feel free to use DnD terms and what not, as in funny things people did with characters, but don't get TOO detailed please. |
| Ariath Ska'Vhor02-28-07, 06:06 PM | In the local tavern one of the adventurers drinks is replaced by a potion of fire-breath. I've never seen this done, but now I want to do it.... |
| Xanaphia_Undomiel02-28-07, 06:57 PM | We were outside this cave full of orcs, and our pyromaniac druid had 4 wagons full of oil, so we pushed all of the wagons into the tunnel and broke them and lit them on fire. Some of the orcs all died from the flames, but none of them escaped from the fumes. Then we went in with breathe carbon monoxide (a spell I wrote myself) and got 20000 gp at 2nd level. Then we all bought repeating heavy crossbows and a giant eagle for our druid. Then, we went to this city which had been captured by an ogre mage. We planned to go into his house, present him with a sword which had been polymorphed into a chicken bone. Our plan was that when the chicken bone changed back, we would attack him. We went in. He took the chicken bone and ate it. Twenty minutes later he died as the bone changed back inside his stomach. I am a supporter of correct English on the internet. | qbogle03-02-07, 11:13 AM | Once one of our team was caught and was being kept in the local jail(Metropolis size city). When we arrived to help him, we noticed our mage had a bag of holding that we all recognized.... it was his stash of CRATES of alchamist fire. After burning 8 city blocks we escaped, without our friend!!! We later payed his fines and left the honest way. |
| Montravont03-02-07, 11:15 AM | Dashing 18 Chr Swashbuckler in the room with the princess. A place where, of course, I'm not supposed to be. The rest of the party comes up with a quest which is this: "Find and kill whomever has been sleeping with the princess and keeping her from proper wedlock." They all know its me and thus come in the window to warn me of my pending doom and the price on my head. As we're standing around in the princess' room talking about solutions there comes a knock on the door. Dave (our fighter) answers said door, notes the 5+ guards, promptly shuts and relocks the door, and pointing to me exclaims "It's for you!" Being the easy going sort of swashbuckler I go and open the door to see what the matter is about. Upon opening the door I see the guards standing there now all with weapons drawn. Repeating all the steps of the fighter, excluding the part of whom it was for, I then run and leap from the window with the rest of the party in tow followed on heel by the gaurds. After a heavy run through out the town we FINALLY ditch the gaurds. All of this in note we decide it would be best to get on with our main quest and leave this town via the catacombs for which we came here. Being the only rogueish character in the party I check the door for locks and traps, disarming each in due accord. I then stand, open the door, look inside, shut it, point to the fighter (Dave) and exlaim "It's for you!" He couldn't help his curiousity. He opened the door and almost died. Poor sap, there was a Beholder on the other side. |
