Depends upon what realm your in. Custom? Eberron? Dragonlance? Forgotten Realms?

There are various names that work in each, not to mention race does play a factor.

We need a bit more info about the character, not just alignment and class.

You could also look up 'Baby Names' on the net and see if there is a specific definition that relates to a name that you would like, just an Idea.

Kavu.

If you prefer really medieval sounding names, i'm afraid I can't help you.

Otherwise, try this (http://www.census.gov/genealogy/names/names_files.html). It's what I use.

Lets see . . .

Bird names are always good for females:

Dove
Hawk
(Blue) Jay <You can shorten or ommit Blue>
etc.

Also, there is this one that I used for an inatley evil assassin in one of my older Dragonlance games (2nd most memorable BBEG from that campaign, the first being my namesake):

Reilansa (Ray-lan-sah) (Derived from her Godmother, who she was named after. Relansa (Ree-lan-sah) Goldleaf)

Nothing wrong with every day names, some of them exsisted back in the olden world:

Sarah
Jade
Elaine
Gwen(ith)

There is a female Draconian in my present campaign that has a decent name as well, and her name and persona both come across as agressive and someone you would not want to mess with:

Wydesh (Y-desh)

Also, there was the name of my past Eberron characters Wife and Daughter:

Tyr (Tear) - Wife
Melody - Daughter

These are just some things I had kicking about in my head. I normally slap some letters together and generate a random name, and hope it plays well, that might work too.
