In advance I apologize if this is the wrong section to post this and also if this question has been asked before.

I read a great deal on the FAQ about artificers but I still have a few questions.

This is something I might has missed.

Can a infusion be stolen by a spell thief?

Once a infusion is put into something does the infusion become active as soon as the infusion is done being infused?

or can it be activated later when needed?

Can you use that feat Spell Storing on infusions?

Can you use the permanence on infusions?

can someone help you to craft a item?
like can they help reduce the time spent to make it or help pay exp cost?
(I asked this because my group wanted to craft The Elemental Tumbler.)

is there any way to up the saves needed to over come a ability on a magic item?

Does a barbarian lose its rage in heavy armor?
people keep telling me this....
What is this way in the older DnD?
I've never played anything under 3.5

Can you use metemagic feats such as quicken spell on infusions?

This is kinda a dumb odd question.
Now someone told me something to make a Artificer even more blasphemy.
They said if a Artificer takes levels in Arcane then they won't have to roll for scrolls and wands.
Which I agree with but my question is.
If you're making a scroll with a Artificer/Sorcerer
Then making it as a Artificer your scroll wont be arcane.
So if I wanted to make it arcane.
I'd have to make it using levels in sorcerer, right?
I hope thats clear..

Do you have to be a spell caster to have a dragonmark?
I know its kinda dumb for a non spell caster to have one but my group has always played in Grey Hawk and we have just recently switch to Eberron
and the female human Barbarian is the only one interested in new things in Eberron such as the Dragonmarks and Grafts.

I've done something I kinda regret and thats allow the characters pay someone to train them in a feat
(5k first 2 feats, 15k after that for 2 more feats)
I was hoping this would get them more interested in Eberron stuff.
That way they could take some of the more advance feats in Eberron without feeling under powered.

So there's my questions asking as a young DM..

No. Any character of any class can have a dragonmark if they match the race requirements. A dragonmark provides a spell-like ability, not a spell. It has no verbal, somatic or material components. You just decide to use it and do.

The feats idea is horribly broken. Sorry, but it is. Feats are worth a lot more than that, and really shouldn't be gained that way. You could try giving people a single bonus feat instead, like a dragonmark, shifter, warforged or psionic feat depending upon the race they have chosen, which would not unbalance things unduly.

I didn't allow them to go for any feat, mostly weapon feats and a few rage feats, I put a HUGE limit on them, lucky me my party doesn't know a lot about D and D to the point to be broken.

They have yet to buy a feat I regret other than that shock ability Warforge can get with their slam attack.

Other than that everything seems to be okay..

Can a infusion be stolen by a spell thief?Dunno, I'd have to re-read the Spell Thief. I thought it was horribly silly when I first saw it, and never gave it the time of day after that.
Once a infusion is put into something does the infusion become active as soon as the infusion is done being infused? The infusion becomes active as soon as you use it, and it's duration timer starts counting down.
Can you use that feat Spell Storing on infusions?Dunno, where is that feat so I can look it up?Can you use the permanence on infusions?By the strictest reading of the RAW, no, because infusions are not on the list of spells that it works on. Beyond that, you have to ask your DM. I do not recommend it though, because thats entirely too cheap of a way to get a powerful weapon or armor without paying for it.
can someone help you to craft a item?

(I asked this because my group wanted to craft The Elemental Tumbler.)In a round about way, yes. You still need to pay the xp cost yourself (usually out of your craft reserve), but you can have someone else provide spells to keep you from having to fake them. And while you can't get help on speeding up the enchanting (although you can take the Artisan feats to speed that part up), you can get help to craft the base item you enchant.

I suggest building a Dedicated Wright or two and have them work on it while you go adventure.is there any way to up the saves needed to over come a ability on a magic item? You need to be a little more specific here, I'm not sure what you're asking.Does a barbarian lose its rage in heavy armor? Read the Rage entry in the PHB. Does it say you lose it while wearing heavy armor? If it does, I didn't see it when I skimmed it. Compare that to Fast Movement, which does say it is lost in heavy armor.
Can you use metemagic feats such as quicken spell on infusions? The Artificer is considered a spontaneous caster in this case, like the Sorcerer.

I hope thats clear..Oh, you can cheese it more than that. Take a level of Cleric with the Magic Domain and you're considered to have BOTH arcane AND divine spell lists for the purposes of items.

But yes, to make the scroll arcane, you have to make it as a Sorcerer, using only the spells you can cast as a sorcerer, just like if you had no levels of Artificer at all.
Do you have to be a spell caster to have a dragonmark? No, spellcasting is not in the feat prereqs, hence you do not need to be a spellcaster.

Infuse the Heighten Spell feat onto said or item or craft the item with heighten spell paying the upped requisite expense. Also cooperative spell and sanctum spell give you situational benefits to DC.
