Not bashing Warforged, I like the racial name, it's very apt.

However what alternative names for warforged can you think of? They could be used a warforged character (I am not a warforged! I am ____) Or slang terms for warforged (Damn ____ stole my job!)

I have several obvious ones:
Tinman
'forged
Metal Men

But not much else.

I hope you mean a name said by people who hate warforged? Cause I really don't hate them. But here are some suggestion for such a character:

False Man
Freak
Stone Pile
Firewood scum
Metal Junk
Rusting thug
Living object

Flesh-Challenged? ;)

Though more seriously from the Warforged view, maybe something like Free-Ones or even Warkers, named after Bulwark.

My current character refers to himself as a "Happy, fun-time-forged" because he doesn't like war.

A quote from a possible character, that my group came up with but no one has made yet. He's a WF bard who believes that the key to fleshy interaction is sex.

Upon being called Warforged, (With a sort of nasal voice) "Correction. I am a Pleasure-Forged."

My homebrew uses an adaptation of the Greek pantheon.
Warforged are most often called the "Children of Hephaestus"

The warforged in my campaign prefer to be called "living constructs" though a Prophet of the Lord of Blades calls them "forgeborn" (vs. "fleshborn")

Old Function or OF (Pronounced Off) -- derogatory. A warforged who still uses violence to make a living, or who serves a master unquestioningly. One whose free will has been turned "off".

MournBorn -- Warforged who were produced after the Day of Mourning, usually spoken in hushed tones.
Shinies -- Mithril body WF

CompStomper -- usually derogatory. One who depends on components to get through difficult situations. Similar to OFs.

Great stuff guys. Keep it coming. I love Forgeborn, its one of the alternatives I was looking for. And Garden State Gamer, love the explantations.

Goldforged-name used for austentatious warforged that were used as court bodyguards by the wealthy and high-ranking Cannith

Rotforged-warforged with the ironwood body feat, typically used in a derogatory manor

I know its not what you're looking for, because its very specific rather than a generalized racial term, but I can't resist.

My girlfriend played a 'forged Bard, and on the first night the party named her "Music Box". It stuck through about 9 months of gaming until she finsihed that character and decided to start another.

Alternate names with no logic whatsoever

Rob - what's worse that having that thing rob me of my job
Tin - another piece of tin taking my job
Will - will that scrap get out of my way

I'm going to try to run through my list of favorite slangs and hope some of them haven't been posted yet.

Clunker
Rust Bucket
Murder Machine - almost exclusively used when talking about a 'Forged as opposed to talking to one.
Toy Soldier
Sword-Slave
Cog

My warforged character (Neutral Frt9/Art2/Jug3) was a smith, and I was feeling uncreative, so he literally just goes by Forge. However, I have earned him 2 nicknames:

When he commits evil acts, he claims he is Deathblade (he 1-hands a greatsword).

in the Cogs of Sharn (party never actually adventured there, he just goes and does petty jobs/killing goblinoids to pass the time), I have earned the name The Dentist. This is mostly because I take a tooth from every creature I damage and it dies. I make necklaces.

Most people in out campaign just avoid talking to me (I have given him the bad habit of always calling living creatures "fleshys" or "sword fodder"), but other warforged I started calling "Brother" or "Comrade". I think that since some don't follow the "I am become death" route, that they wouldn't consider any fleshy-given name based around violence a worthwhile racial name.

Humans, however, might consider looking at them as chess pieces. Since all they were during the Last War were soldiers and shock troops, I'd consider having and warforged-unfriendly fleshys call them "Pawn" or some sort of game piece.

I'll sometimes have my character refer to himself as 'Adamantine and Anger', not on a regular basis though.

I've always been found of "Artificial Person".
