I just read the updated Artificer Handbook on the D&D Forum FAQs...the writer Edymnion claims in his treatise that a character CANNOT combine or stack the effects of the legendary artisan, exceptional artisan, etc. feats. Where does its state that?

If that's the case, it's a terrible rule. I would just create an epic feat that lets a character combine 2 of them. A sencond dip in the same feat would allow the use of all 3 simultaneously.

Its not that they dont stack with each other. They cannot stack with multiple instances of the same feat.

Originally people thought you take say the Extrodinary Artisan Feat 4 times and make things for no gold cost or at least really really cheap.

The errata for ECS corrects this. You can have all three and benefit from all three. You cannot have multiple of the same feat.

Remeber also that all three are off the base price, not off each other. You dont take 25% off of gold then figure the xp of the lower price.

Hope that helps.

Thanks a ton - that's what I thought.
