| sirhcvd0205-05-07, 01:54 AM | u guys know there is the nifty spellcasting and services menu in the PHB pg129 showing how much it would cost for a spell. e.g. 0-level cost = caster lv x 5gp 1-level cost = caster lv x 10gp 2-level cost = caster lv x 20gp etc... is there a likewise list for paying an artificer for infusions? I want that third arm working for my off hand attacks and it'll work with a lv3 infusion... |
| Captain_Kobold05-05-07, 09:31 AM | I would assume similar prices for an artificer, assuming that you can find one capable and willing. Spells that cost XP would have the standard extra cost. Are you talking about the Spare hand item? You need to be an artificer yourself in order to power it with infusions. Even if your DM lets you get away with someone else infusing it, remember the effect will only last for 24 hours. |

It should be quite helpful, considering what you can gain from spending infusions for it. |
| sirhcvd0205-08-07, 11:54 AM | yes i was talking about the spare hand, ha, sorry i was in a hurry and just called it third arm. Thats good advice just to assume the same price as the wizard list. I contend that someone else can infuse the spare hand because it still costs an lv3 infusion, and infusions power up items right :P. And yes, thanks for the reminder that it only lasts for 24 hours, i also wanted to note that the spare hand says that it can only hold light weapons, so even if i took say the oversized two-weapon feat (com adven), i cant argue that i can fit a normal weapon in that spare hand... |
