| Prahd01-09-08, 10:35 AM | I cannot find any rules on creating constructs. (Am I just not looking in the right places?) I know some construct's have a section in the MM that gives Materials, GP cost, XP costs etc. for creating them (ex. Shield Gardian) but not for all (ex. Clockwork Horrors). Am I missing something or can those that do not have an entry on Construction not able to be built? Thanks for any help -G |
| Captain_Kobold01-09-08, 10:50 AM | Not all constructs are created by normal human means. The "Construct" type is used to represent any non-living mass of material that is animated by means other than Undead. Thus it includes normal objects unter the Animate object spell, golems and homunculi constructed by mortals, and independently animated creatures such as inevitables and clockwork horrors. In general, you are correct: If a construct does not have a section on Construction, then it cannot be built by a PC. |

| Waywalker01-16-08, 07:34 PM | I don't know if you've gotten ananswer through Google yet, but there is a solid list floating around somewhere. Google "homunculi", and it should bring it up. I've got the list, but I certainly don't want to take up that much board space to list it out. And I'm not adept at these boards yet so I don't know how to get it to you. But if it helps, there is a list, I've got it, and I'm willing to share if there's a way to do so without taking up space here. |
