Artificers with Recharge [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-14-07, 01:57 AM do artificers qualify for recharge even though they dont technically cast spells? im currently in a recharge campaign with two other casters and the dm states that the artificer cant have recharge because it would be too broken, is this the case?

03-14-07, 02:16 AM If you're referring to the Recharge Magic variant (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/magic/rechargeMagic.htm) from Unearthed Arcana, then it should be no more broken for an artificer to have recharge magic when everyone else does. Simply apply an appropriate recharge time for their "buff" spells (i.e. not general recharge time) and you should be fine.
