I'm wondering -- how would you adapt the bear warrior PrC to "dino warrior?" Or is it a bad idea from the start?

I thought that maybe black bear form could be replaced with clawfoot form. Then I pretty much ran out of ideas (I thought about the megaraptor, but that seemed to be somewhere halfway between the brown bear and dire bear in power, and also gives pounce which might be overpowering.)

Sounds like a good idea, actually. Shouldn't be too hard, just match up the CR of the Bear Warrior's various forms with dinosaur forms. Will take a look in my MMs...

Edit: So, after doing a quick look, the closest CR analogues are Clawfoot, Deinonychus, and Megaraptor. Although, the latter two are one CR behind the bear forms of appropriate level.

Well you could also go the extreme simple way. Just keep most things the same and call it something different. Although I would change the requirements and some of the special abilities. I would probably keep all the stat bonuses, just to keep it easy.

I've tinkered with this in the past, and you could probably find my build for it if you looked around enough... Anyway, what I went with was Deinonychus, then Megaraptor, then Allosaurus to replace the three bear types. Remember that at least 2 of these have been errata'd since their original appearances!

My original idea was to use it for Q'Barran lizardfolk barbarians, BTW.
