| The Jake03-27-07, 01:50 AM | What/where are the rules for this? |
| Pinky's brain03-27-07, 01:54 AM | Deathless from the ECS lose all the abilities they had in life and are not playable ... since it's a NPC only thing there don't have to be actual rules for becoming deathless. |
| The Jake03-27-07, 01:59 AM | So you can become an undead fuelled by negative energy but not undead fuelled by positive energy?!? |
| Belabras03-27-07, 02:03 AM | Mechanically it's just a matter of adding the template. In terms of actual play - you'd need to be an Aerinal Elf, and you would need to have done some very, very impressive things for your people. Then you'd need to die, so you can be raised as a Deathless councilor. At that point you move to Aerinal and sit on the council for the rest of eternity. Have fun! |
| Pinky's brain03-27-07, 10:24 AM | It's not a template, at least not the ECS ones. |
| Cifer03-27-07, 10:41 AM | Generally, you could try playing around with the Necropolitan template. |
| Belabras03-27-07, 11:39 AM | As I recall, there is a template in the Book of Exalted Deeds. |
| bad_phil03-27-07, 02:44 PM | For Gods sake, I you want to play a Deatless, why not? Just do it. Take the undead type and change it to make a playable deatless. As I recall I there is in the campain setting a paragraph about "deatless as characters". A deatless might also not only be a councular who sit on a chair for all eternity, why would he not be a great warrior who got a very important mission from the undying court? |
