Amaril 06-18-07, 02:07 PM	Has anyone toyed with the idea of using the Bloodlines variant rule from UA? Some of them seem to fit well with the unique Eberron races such as Doppelganger and Lycanthrope bloodlines for Changelings and Shifters respectively. I'm curious how some of you might perceive the demon, dragon, giant, or fey bloodlines' roles in Eberron, too.
Alex_ 06-18-07, 02:32 PM	I haven't used them myself. However... Demon bloodlines could probably be found amongst the people of the Demon Wastes. Giant bloodlines could possibly be in Xen'drik or even more likely, in Sarlonna, where populations of half-giants live. Dragon Bloodlines would probably be found amongst the Seren people in the islands just north of and along the coast of Argonessen. Fey are most prevalent in the Eldeen Reaches and Xen'drik IIRC. There's a Druidic sect based in the Eldeen Reaches that associates often with Fey. For some reason I can't recall the name. I think that's all you were looking for.
bad_phil 06-18-07, 04:34 PM	I played a Sarlonan Half-Giant with the fire giant bloodline. As told in the previous post, it's more likely to appear among the people of Sarlona. All you have to do with those variant is use your logic and imagination.
Amaril 06-18-07, 05:02 PM	I guess my original post was more of an inquiry on if/how have you used it rather than how do you use it. It just seemed like a neat idea that meshed well enough with the unique elements of Eberron, and I'm surprised we haven't seen these ideas appear in any supplements yet. After all, we have action points. :)

Donald_Cannith 07-11-07, 02:01 AM	I have used Fey bllodlines in a Greensinger Ranger and it worked out wonderfully. Also, one oftheb ig villains ofmy last campaign was a Psychic Warrior with a minor Hill giant bloodline, being controlled buy the Inspired.
