Changeling Wizard Substatution Level 5 [Archive] - Wizards Community

I've just created a changeling wizard, using the sub levels. The 5th level lets your familiar shift betwen all of the standard familiar shapes giving you whichever bonus is associated with its current shape. All fine and good if you don't take a feat like improved familiar or exalted familiar.

What happens then?

09-20-07, 09:31 PM I'm not familiar with exalted familiar but what's your question about improved familiar? Your familiar gets another form to change into.

09-21-07, 12:00 AM Morphic familiar allows your familiar to become any kind that you could normally have as one. By taking either Improved Familiar or Exalted, you add to that list because now those are part of what you can normally have as well.
