In the racial traits it says that most often they are born from humans... what I want to know is how to modify this for other races. Is there a errata or something about this any were? If not. How would you do it?

Change their flavor, make them look more elven, or dwarvish, but don't actually change their mechanics.

By matching them to actual races mechanically, you start down the slippery slope of sub-races.

Only elves are mutagenic enough for that, and all the inferior types were killed off in the slave revolt. ;)

Honestly, what is wrong with a stout, bearded Daelkyr half-blood, or a graceful, pointy-eared one that is the same mechanically?

It isn't like their actual other parent is a Daelkyr, so they won't necessarily have the traits of their "biological" parent either.

I did this sort of thing with a character before. I played a half-blood from the shadow marshes that looked like an orc. He was a wilder and I made him into a decent martial character with "orcish" strenth, though he had crazy Cha as well since it was a 32 point build game.

Basicly, it's just flavor and where you put your stats.
