Lordornas 05-21-07, 08:17 AM	Hey Guys, i am pretty new to Eberron, and just finish reading thorugh the core books and now i have some questions, which i hope some of you can answer. First: is it possible for a PlayerChar to manifest more than one Dragonmark?(for example by unison of two houses, i know normally that would result in an abberrant dragonmark but just theoratically, would it also be possible to manifest both marks?) Second: Can i take the Dragonmark Heir Prestige Class and The Heir of Siberys Prestigeclass? (in the rules it is stated that if i take lvls in the Heir of Siberys Prestige Class i cant take Lvls in the Dragonmark Heir Prestige Class, but what if i take the Dragonmark Heir Prestigeclass first and then the Heir of Siberys? Do they stack?Do i get the improved dragonmark and the Siberys mark?) Thanks for the help, regards Lordornas
tallric_kruush 05-21-07, 08:36 AM	First, welcome to Eberron, Lordornas. 1) No. You can manifest only one mark. 2) The Heir of Syberis PrC prohibits the character entering it from ever having selected a Dragonmark feat before. This reflects the nature of Syberis marks. They are rare, manifesting without warning on previously unmarked heirs. Since this is the case, a character with a Least, Lesser, or Greater 'mark feat could never manifest a Syberis mark.

HMm hearing this i think the Sibery Mark isnt that good, 2 uses of a 7 or 8 level spell isnt much compared to the maximed dragonmarks i think. Hmm another question any idea wher ei can find more about Lady Vol and her Mark od death?Or are her stats not posted anywhere yet?Then any idea when they will be??

None of the DM-feats are really worth their costs powerwise and the DM Heir is one of the worst classes if you're looking for combat power - no spell progression, no combat abilities, nothing but some saves and mediocre hit dice. Dragonmarks become fun as soon as your DM makes a campaign which is at least somewhat socially focused since you then get the wonderful "You can't touch me - I'm a house member! I'm important!" feeling that will make every watch officer hate you.

She is a level 16 wizard lich half-dragon elf. That's all we know about her, and the Mark of Death was purposefully not statted out so that DMs who wished to reintroduce could have it do whatever best fit their plots.

I agree. That's why, as a GM, I give allow my PCs to pick a free feat at character creation. This feat is either a dragonmark feat, roleplaying feat (Favored in House, etc.) or a Skill feat (Alertness, etc.). I find that my PCs, being the powergaming munchkins they are, would never take a dragonmark unless I gave it to them. And the simple spell like abilities aren't unbalancing and they tend to give some flavor to the PC.
