jonci 03-01-07, 11:20 PM	Quori shard items are items usable by Kalashtar and Inspired because of their quori spirit. I was wondering on people's position about Elans and quori shards. Based on the Player's Guide to Eberron, Elans in Eberron are created by quori spirits being imprisoned within a human. Ready, set, Discuss!

"Screw Player's Guide to Eberron, I have a much cooler way to implement Elans in my game without resorting to making everything psionic have to do with Dal Quor and the quori!" 2. "No, they can't use them." Perhaps the Quori spirit is so tightly bound and imprisoned that the Elan can't focus its powers through embedded shards. Maybe the Elan's psychic metabolism might be disrupted by embedding psionically resonant crystals in it's body. 3. "Sure!" Embedded shards are cool, and they're priced effectively. Adding one more race to the short list that can use them isn't broken. I go with option 3.
