jtrowell 09-10-07, 08:16 AM	In the comic "Eye of the wolf", a vampire uses its energy drain on Mace, a warforged. From the ECS, warforged are supposed to be immune to energy drain. Is it an error in the comic (but the story is from Keith Baker, so it would seems unlikely), is it that the story has been writen before the ECS, and that warforged were not given this immunity until late, or did I miss something ?

It does look like the vampire is using energy drain, but there are a couple of possibilities that nothing is wrong: 1) The vampire is using some Con draining spell, rather than Energy Drain. 2) It's not affecting him, Mace just doesn't draw attention to that. The quote 'He didn't know Mace' could refer to the fact that warforged are immune to energy drain as well as that he isn't the type to submit. Otherwise, it's probably just a simple mistake on Keith's part, he is human after all! The comic came out much later than the ECS for it to be something like a late change in editing.
